The mechanically programmable locking system system

If a key is lost, only the keys of this closure must be disposed of and replaced by new keys. The cylinders are reprogrammed with the "old" and the "new" red key. 77824 different closures are possible

The highlight of this system is that the cylinders are reprogrammable with another closure.
Thus, the cylinders never have to be replaced and no expensive changeable cores are required. Furthermore, the warehousing is extremely simplified, since all cylinders are "the same".
Since keys can only be reordered with the presentation of a security card and, due to the special round grinding, cannot be copied with normal key milling machines, the locking system is considered very secure.
The mechanics in the cylinders are considered very robust, since the classic pins and springs were dispensed with. Due to the special mechanics, the cylinder is very well protected against the "classic" lockpicking techniques.
This system is cheaper to purchase than systems with an interchangeable core and much cheaper in the event of a key loss,
because only the keys have to be exchanged and these are very cheap compared to other systems.
